Gecko 3D Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the mobile game Gecko 3D: Cube Escape Puzzle ("the game") collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers the game on iPhone, iPad and Android. The game has no account you create, no login and no chat. Playing it does not require you to give us your name, email address or any other personal detail.

What is collected

Device and app information: device model, operating system version, language, country and approximate location derived from your IP address, app version, and an advertising identifier or a random installation identifier. Used to run the game, show ads, measure how the game is doing and prevent fraud.
Gameplay and usage data: which levels you play, how long they take, what you tap in the shop, which ads you watch. Used to balance levels, improve the game and measure our advertising.
Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data. Used to find and fix bugs.
Purchase data: when you buy something in the shop, Apple or Google process the payment. We receive a receipt with the product bought and a transaction identifier. We never see your card or account details.

The game gives your device a random, anonymous player identifier so that its services can tell installs apart. Your progress is stored on your device. If you delete the game, it is gone.

The game includes software from these partners, each of which collects the device and usage data described above under its own policy:

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing device and usage data with advertising partners may count as "sharing" or "selling" under some laws, such as California's; see Your rights below to opt out.

Advertising and tracking

The game shows ads, including rewarded ads you choose to watch for an in-game reward. On iOS the game asks for permission before using the advertising identifier for tracking; if you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalised. You can reset or limit the advertising identifier in your device settings at any time (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads).

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA and UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, and to object to personalised advertising. Because the game holds no account, most of this data is tied to your device's advertising identifier: resetting or limiting it, or deleting the game, removes the link to you. For anything else, email us and we will act within 30 days.

Data retention and security

Usage and advertising data is kept by our partners for the periods stated in their policies, typically no longer than needed for analytics and fraud prevention. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date.
